They say therapy is a dance between the therapist and the client.
You spend class time learning the mechanics of the moves, the reasons behind this move and that move, how to recover if you step on toes, and it all looks like a scientific art form you'll never master.
But you practice in class, you add more and more minutes to the practice sessions, and then you record a half-hour role play session as a therapist with a classmate client.
You watch to it, you transcribe it, and suddenly, you see it.
You see yourself dancing.
And you're not half bad. :)
